Bio
Rebecca joined the PHURI as a Programme Manager with a background in global health research and a focus on research management. After completing an MSc in Nutrition for Global Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, she developed a strong interest in research management. Prior to this role, she worked in the Research Funding team at the World Cancer Research Fund International, overseeing a portfolio of funded grants and supporting key projects.
At the PHURI, she manages the operational and strategic functions of Professor Segun Fatumo’s research portfolio as well as of the Genomic Diversity Research Group, including initiatives like the KidneyGenAfrica Partnership programme.
She is passionate about supporting impactful research, and excited to contribute to the institute’s mission and vision.
